Persue Feature in Arize Magazine

Arize Magazine just did a great feature on Persue & Bunny Kitty.
For those that do not know how much Persue has done, specifically for the skate apparel and shoe industry, this is a must read!

Some of the Q&A taken from the feature..
Arize: So who’s behind Bunny Kitty? This can’t be Bunny Kitty typing all this can it?
I am a west coast graffiti pioneer, fashion designer and creative director that caught the spray painting bug in 1988.
Arize: As the creator, how did people receive this idea?
I remember asking my family and close friends before I even did anything with the character if they thought I was crazy. They told me that I’d be crazy not to. Many of my friends and mentors are “True School” graffiti kings, so when they said go for it I did! I get a lot of positive response to the Bunny Kitty project from all over the planet. Either people wanting product or a canvas or just to say they love what we do. That’s a great feeling because we just wanted to have fun with it and it has been nothing but fun from the start. So we thank our fans for that!

Arize: For those that don’t know..Can you sum up what it is exactly that you do?
For the past 17 years I have been creating many of today’s top skateboard and snow companies brand direction. DC shoes, Circa footwear, and Vox Footwear are just a few companies that I have helped to establish. For example I named and did the entire brand identity of Circa footwear including their logo. I’ve worked with most of today’s and yesterday’s top skaters, Danny Way, Jay Adams, Rob Dyrdek, Dan Drehobl, Alphonzo Rawls, Chad Muska, Neil Blender, Jerry Hsu and Pat Duffy to name a few. I hate to name drop, but oh well. I have done countless shoe designs, skate graphics, snow graphics, logos, t-shirts and product development. I have done so much work that it is hard to even show people everything. There has been talks of a personal website or a book in the not too distant future.

Persue practically created many of the skate brands we know today and let's not forget about Bunny Kitty! MEOW! Check out the whole interview! And http://www.myspace.com/bkitty
